Help Sponsor My First 525-Mile California Coast Classic Bike Ride for Charity

September 13-20, 2014 | San Francisco to Los Angeles, CA – For as far back as I can remember, every year I create a list of tangible resolutions I adhere to under a number of personal life categories, from Educational Development, Leadership, Family, Friends and Colleagues, and so forth. One category that I thoroughly enjoy adding to every year is the category I call “New & Daring”.

So, to commemorate 2014 and to bring in my birthday this coming September with a bang, I signed up to cycle 525 miles along the California Coast–from San Francisco to Los Angeles–with 299 other riders. This year, the California Coast Classic, or CCC as it is often referred, is continuing its philanthropy by raising awareness and funds for the Arthritis Foundation..

Mom and JummyA fitting cause for I WILL BE RIDING IN HONOR OF MY MOM who has, for the past few years, been struggling with acute rheumatoid arthritis and has been diligently participating in clinical trials. I’ll begin training for this race simultaneously as I gear up for the 2014 Los Angeles Marathon in March.

Wish me luck as I try my best to meet my $3,100 fundraising goal for the CCC, as well as seek sponsorship to get the proper gear and training for this once in a lifetime event. I can’t wait!!!

HERE’S A LOOK AT MY PREVIOUS MOST RECENT
“NEW AND DARING “ACTIVITIES…

In 2013, I jumped off the side of the Pyrennes Mountains paragliding with a friend overlooking France and Spain — with about 5 minutes advance notice!!! I later ran and fundraised for the New York City Marathon in November for the Melanoma Education Foundation, after mentoring over 50+ teammates over the fall season for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through Team and Training.

In 2012, I jumped out of an airplane and went skydiving with another friend overlooking the capitol in Washington, DC and the DMV. I also took the biggest risk of my professional life at that point and launched my first company, J. S. Bullock & Associates, LLC. It has and continues to grow successfully, with a new lineup of services and divisions, including the 2014 launch of JSBA Publishing Group International. Stay tuned!
